Dr. Baiamonte’s method, based on an innovative approach to statistical thermodynamics, applies classical theory to our energy needs. This method identifies the basal metabolic rate (BMR) as the “best friend” and ally of our organism and well-being. The BMR works for us even when we are at rest, without us noticing it. However, we become aware of it because we slim down in the process. This diet does not rely on physical exertion, particularly when it is intended solely for calorie consumption. Instead, it triggers the basal metabolic rate, which acts like a boiler, burning excess calories and leading to a natural drop in weight.

A the same time he is a nutritionist and author of many books on human nutrition, in which he explains his own dietary method.
