Have you ever wondered about the mysterious divine beings known as Yoginīs? Little is known about them beyond the closed circles of initiated Tantra adepts. Why do Yogini temples differ so dramatically from other Indian temples in terms of architectural design?
If you're seeking answers, this book will guide you gradually and systematically to the realization that the unique temples dedicated to the Yogini cult were intentionally designed as places for sky watching. It reveals that the enigmatic mistresses of these temples were divine personifications of celestial phenomena observed in the night sky.
